In recent years, I’ve been experimenting with digital communication modes, which allow for long-distance communication using very little power. These modes can be used with computers and radio transceivers, enabling operators to make contact with others around the world even when conditions aren’t ideal for voice communication. It’s just another example of how versatile and dynamic the world of HAM radio can be.

Why I Continue to Enjoy HAM Radio

After several years of being a licensed HAM radio operator, I can confidently say that this hobby continues to bring me joy and satisfaction. It’s not just about the technical skills I’ve learned or the equipment I’ve used—it's about the connections I’ve made and the people I’ve met along the way.

HAM radio offers a unique way to bridge distances, whether those distances are geographical, cultural, or personal.
